Description The Standard Atlas is the model that will do the most for most people. It is great for students, readers, academics, clergy, accountants, secretaries, data entry workers, writers, editors, most anyone. It is often recommended for persons with physical limitations.

For pictures of some of its applications, click on  Standard Atlas. or continue through the website.

The Atlas Ultra is the newest product in the Atlas line.  It has all the height adjustability of the Standard Atlas, but only two angles of adjustability.  Like the Standard Atlas, the Ultra takes a small 11 x 11 inch footprint, but will hold documents that are much larger, wider and heavier.

For pictures of this book holder in action, click on Atlas ULTRA, or continue through the website.

The Atlas-LC was specifically designed for library cataloging, in cooperation with a major US library.  Its deeper shelf reflects the fact that cataloging requires primarily the first few pages of a book.

The Atlas-LC is also useful for other extraordinarily heavy-duty tasks.

To learn more, click on Atlas-LC, or continue through the website.

Comparing value and price: how expensive is an Atlas?

$65 to $99 for a book holder / copy stand?  That sounds like a lot, but it's not the most expensive on the market, and you get a lifetime of comfort and convenience while reading and working!  Compare it to some other common expenditures:
  • Lost work time -- ?
  • Visit to health care professional, including lost wages -- ?
  • Physical Therapy -- $50+ per hour
  • Good pair of running shoes -- $120
  • 5 CD's -- $90
  • Saturday night movie and dinner out -- ?
  • Degraded work and leisure time due to pain -- ?

Well [the Atlas] is just perfect, and I can't tell you how many awful metal devices I've tried and chucked out over the past four years!
